Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy that uses essential plant oils externally to improve physical and emotional well-being. Plant oils have been used as therapy for thousands of years, they are made from essences found in the flowers, leaves, roots, peel, resin, seeds and bark of plants by distillation or expression.
These natural plant oils are applied in a variety of ways:
• Massage
• Baths
• Inhalations (not for asthmatics)
It is necessary for me to ask questions about your medical history, general health and lifestyle. This is to select the most appropriate oils for you as individual as some oils might not be suitable to specific health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, epilepsy, diabetes, high/low blood pressure, asthma, sensitive skin, allergies, some types of cancer, ADD/ADHD), but some might be particularly useful (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, arthritis, cellulite, menopause, PMT, IBS, etc.).
We will discuss your preferred way of application and it is possible to leave me with multiple products if that is what you wish. After selecting and blending appropriate essential oils, I will usually apply the oils in combination with massage, please see below. A session normally lasts for 60 to 90 minutes.
Aromatherapy is an especially effective treatment for stress-related problems and a variety of chronic conditions. It can particularly aid with:

• Balancing hormones
• Skin issues
• Respiratory issues

Yoga
Yoga is for everyone - young and old, fit or unfit, flexible or unflexible. Yoga has the power to calm the mind and strengthen the body by immersing in the flow and being mindful.
RYS 200 certified, I learned under Javier Castro who developed biomechanic based on sports science after practicing yoga for 30 years. I do not classify myself as a yoga teacher, just a yoga practitioner who can guide you in one on one or group sessions.
Yoga as a practice can be used in many different ways depending on what you are looking for:
• Helps us to relax or invigorate
• Reduces anger
• Stretches and strengthens muscles
• Prevents sport injuries and helps building up from zero
• Getting the energy moving
• And if you are open to it, helps us to notice our thought patterns
The session can be tailored to your particular needs including its length, so please let me know if you have any underlying health condition or a particular target you are aiming for.
Massage
After years of running and injuries, I became fascinated by how human body works. As a result I became ITEC Level 3 certified in Holistic massage followed by certificates in:
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Stretch Massage
• Lymphatic Drainage Massage
• Cancer Massage
This means I am able to tailor the session to your needs and focus on:
• Release of muscular or tissue related conditions through deep tissue or stretch massage
• Increase relaxation through holistic or lymphatic drainage massage
• Therapeutic benefits of a light touch for patients with chronic illnesses or going through cancer treatment through cancer massage
As essential oils enhance massage benefits, I will propose a blend that I believe would be suitable for you at that time. You are definitely not required to use essential oils if you do not wish to. Equally, practicing under BAHA Code of Conduct, I am not able to do a massage and energy healing at the same time. There needs to be a distinctive end to one treatment before starting the other. I fully respect everyone's beliefs and will not impose mine on you.
